Resumen

Interview with Yanna Soentjens, sound engineer, about the sound environment she created for Close (2022), a drama film directed by Lukas Dhont. Soentjens reflects on various elements present in the film, as well as how they were thought of, captured, and mixed. By deepening the knowledge of her professional trajectory, the interview allows for a better understanding of her creative process and the importance of sound in cinema, not only as an inseparable element of the image but also as an instrument of connection between the film and the viewer.
