'Art-ethnography’, an Experimental Field: Critical Review of an Epistemology Based on Arnd Schneider's ‘Expanded Visions’
Abstract
Expanded Visions by Arnd Schneider proposes an experimental interdisciplinary epistemology, which is situated between relational aesthetics, materiality, sensorial ethnography, and observational and participatory cinema. This innovative epistemological framework seeks to inspire anthropologists and artists to experiment with "what can happen beyond the eroded limits of the field of vision?"
