Trance and Memory: Cinema in Marlene Monteiro Freitas’ dance
Abstract
Approaching the programming of 'Foco Marlene', which took place between 21 and 30 October 2020, at Teatro Municipal do Porto, we reflect on the relationship between the choreographic work of Marlene Monteiro Freitas and a specific cinematic imaginary, imbricating this process with the ideas of trance and memory.
