Author Biography

Fátima Chinita, Instituto Politécnico de Lisboa, Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema, 2700-571 Amadora

Fátima Chinita is an Associate Professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon, Theatre and Film School, in Portugal. She has a PhD in Artistic Studies (Cinema and Audiovisual Media), an MA in Communication Sciences (Contemporary Culture and New Technologies), and BA's both in Cinema (Editing) and English/Portuguese Literature. She is currently conducting joint post-doctoral research in Intermediality in Sweden (at the IMS - Intermedial and Multimodal Centre, University of Linnaeus) and Portugal (at the Labcom.IFP, Universidade da Beira Interior). She has been a SERCIA member since 2013 and is already organising the 24th annual meeting in Växjö, Sweden.
