Abstract

The text is thought as a brief museological and museographical journey of Paolo Gioli’s exhibition “Volti” [“Faces”], that allows the reader to go through the exhibition-making process, discussing, among others, the difficulties that I have encountered.

Enrico Camporesi is a writer and curator based in Paris. He is a Ph.D candidate in a joint program between the University Sorbonne Nouvelle and the University of Bologna. His current research focuses on matters of restoration and museology of experimental and artists' film. He writes regularly on moving images for several Italian and international journals, magazines, websites and he is a member of the board of the multilingual film studies quarterly La Furia Umana.
