In this article I offer an overview of the 'International Conference on Landscape and Cinema' that took place on December 3-5, 2018, at the School of Arts and Humanities, University of Lisbon.

Sandra Camacho is a PhD candidate in the International Programme in Comparative Studies (PhDComp) at the School of Arts and Humanities, University of Lisbon, where she is developing a thesis titled From the Analogue to Image Retrieval: Concepts of Archival Art in Daniel Blaufuks. She holds a Masters in Art and Multimedia from Faculdade de Belas-Artes, Universidade de Lisboa (2011) and a MA in Contemporary Art from Sotheby’s Institute of Art, University of Manchester (2013). Her main areas of interest are the archive as contemporary art practice, the digital archive, media archaeology, interarts studies and memory studies.
