Manuela Penafria teaches at the UBI (University of Beira Interior, Portugal) and is a research member of Labcom.IFP. She publishes on film theory and documentary. Her latest co-edited books focus on "filmmakers theory" (labcom-ifp.ubi.pt/tcineastas).
