Abstract

The article analyses the documentary Reparação (2010), by Daniel Moreno, which is about the left-wing armed struggle and how it affected common people during the Brazilian military dictatorship (1964-1985). The aim is to discuss how the topics of the armed struggle and the dictatorship have been treated in Brazilian cinema since the 1960s until now, when we see emerge a number of productions ideologically aligned with the Right and critical of the Labour Party (PT).
