Abstract

Promoted by the Movimento Ação Cidadã  (MAC), the publication of Flora Gomes. O Cineasta Visionário intends to "gather contributions, looks and visions from the academic, journalistic and literary criticism fields" from different parts of the world on one of the "positive references" of Bissau-Guinean culture.

Paulo Cunha holds a PhD in Contemporary Studies at University of Coimbra. He is a guest assistant professor at University of Beira Interior and Abrantes Technology School. He is a researcher at CEIS20 – Center for Interdisciplinary Studies of the Twentieth Century of the University of Coimbra. It is co-coordinator of the GT History of Portuguese Cinema at AIM – Portuguese Researchers Association of Moving Image. He is responsible for the publishing project Nós por cá todos bem.
