Inês Cordeiro Dias, University of California, Los Angeles Department of Spanish & Portuguese, 5310 Rolfe Hall, Box 951532, Los Angeles, CA 90095-1532

Inês Cordeiro Dias has a PhD in Hispanic Languages and Literatures from the University of California, Los Angeles. She is currently a Teaching Fellow at the same university, in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese. She has a BA and an MA from the University of Lisbon, Faculty of Letters. Her research focuses on how politics and film interact in Portuguese-speaking countries, in particular in Portugal, Brazil, Mozambique and Angola, between the 1950s and 1980s.
