The upcoming AIM annual meeting and international conference will take place at the University of Algarve, between 28-30 May, in the beautiful city of Faro. This will be a partnership between AIM, the Research Center for Arts and Communication (CIAC), and the School of Education and Communication (ESEC), in collaboration with NECS-European Network for Cinema and Media Studies. We invite scholars and researchers who study the moving image from various perspectives to submit their proposals in Portuguese, English or Spanish. Submissions received until 8 January 2025 will be peer-reviewed by the conference scientific committee. Notification of the accepted proposals will start in February 2025.
